Soil nailing method is one of the common methods in stabilize temporary and permanent, and
maintenance of earthen walls ,chalky limestones and crushed stones .
The implementation of this method is in stages , and up to down.
Each stage of operation includes:
A: Deep drilling to sustainable depth(1_2 m).
B:Spudding with length , diagonal , gradient, and specified spacing.
C: Installation of reinforcement, and cement grout.
D: Installing composite strips for special drainage on face.
E: Welded net,implementation of shotcerete,installing anchor plate on reinforcement spot.
Poor and problematic conditions for soil nailing method are: Dry and lack of adhesion soil, high subsoil water,soil rubble,ductile fine grained soil,organic soil,weathered rock,long cold and,loose granular soil.
In this situation ,design and construction costs of them will be more than normal situation.
